How can I be sure that your staff are trustworthy?

Our recruitment process includes interviews, referencing from previous employers as well as Standard DBS checks.  We do everything in our power to ensure that the staff we send to you are honest and trustworthy.

What happens if my cleaner/housekeeper is sick or on holiday?

We know that people get sick, have emergencies or go on holiday.  We have a bank of staff to enable cover to be provided for such eventualities; we try to send two staff in to locations from time to time so that clients know the person who would offer cover for their usual cleaner.

How much do you charge?

The question everyone wants answered!!  We offer a bespoke service for our clients so, whilst we know that you want to know the cost before we visit, we really DO need to see your property and discuss what you want before we can answer that question.  That does not mean we are too expensive, it means that we will work with you to accommodate your requirements and provide you with a reliable, professional and high quality service for your home, holiday let or office space.

Do I need to provide cleaning products?

No, we provide our staff with all cleaning products required to clean your home – apart from a vacuum cleaner, broom, dustpan and brush.

How do I pay for your services?

We currently offer two payment options: weekly invoicing or standing order.

Some people like to set up a cleaning schedule and pay monthly by standing order so that they don’t have to worry about settling invoices; if you opt for that method and a week is missed because you are away, or just don’t want a clean that week, then the hours will be ‘banked’ for future use – this is something which we will accommodate but we prefer it not to become a regular habit as it gets a bit complicated.

If you prefer to pay on invoice these are issued weekly with 7 day payment terms – payment may be made through online banking directly into our account.  We do not currently offer a credit/debit card payment facility.

Is your company insured?

Yes, we carry full Employer’s and Public Liability Insurance.  Every client receives a copy of our insurance certificate when they take on our services.

Do you provide cleaning and change-over service for Airbnb properties?

Yes, we know that operating such rentals is hard work for property owners, especially if they work themselves.  We can provide a bespoke service for owners of Airbnb properties; you choose the level of service you require and we will provide you with a fixed price for the service you select – any optional or additional extras will be advised prior to work being carried out so that you stay in control.

Do I have to have a cleaner/housekeeper every week?

Not at all; we know that not everyone wants their house cleaned every week.  Our services are tailored to your requirements so we will accommodate whatever cleaning routine you require.

What if I don’t get on with the housekeeper/cleaner you send to me?

It is important that you are happy with your housekeeper/cleaner.  Whilst we do our best to recruit high quality, amenable staff, we understand that sometimes personalities just don’t click.  We hold a review meeting with every client after a mutually agreed period to ensure that you are happy with your housekeeper/cleaner; if not then we will send another member of staff for you to trial.

Will I have the same cleaner/housekeeper every week?

Yes, unless they are off sick or on holiday.  Your home is a very personal space and you need to be comfortable with anyone who works in it.  Whether you are at home or work while your house is getting ‘the treatment’ from our staff, you need to be happy about who is in your home.  This is best achieved by the same person working with you every time; they will get to know you and will then know how you like things done and any particular preferences you may have.

Will your products be okay in my septic tank?

Yes, our products have been specifically sourced to be safe to use in properties with septic tanks.  We do not use bleach, sterilising fluid, biological cleaners or harsh chemicals.
